With limited time you can still enjoy exciting fishing in Darwin Harbour!

While taking in the views of our beautiful city you can be chasing GT’s, Queenfish, Mackerel and yes! even the elusive Barra, as well as having the opportunity to see some of our local wildlife in their natural surroundings, including Dugong, manta rays and giant sea eagles. Your tour includes pick up from Stokes Hill Wharf, Cullen Bay or the local Dinah Beach Boat Ramp by arrangement.

Fish we are chasing

The Spanish mackerel have exceptional eye sight and scissor sharp teeth. They will quickly remove your lure just leaving you frustrated!

Once hooked you can expect a long, exciting run, but they will tire fairly quickly.

The Queenfish are torpedo like and tenacious this ‘silver streak’ will charge from the surface of the water shaking madly in an attempt to release itself, crash down and repeat the whole process again and again with what seems boundless energy.

Spectacular fishing on light tackle Queenfish or Skinnies make for a great day on the water.

GT’s or Giant Trevally are a brutish fish that rank right up there with the best!

Caught on lures they can range from 2 – 3 Lb school Trevally, right up to your 50lb monster. They are a magnificent fighting fish and can offer you pound for pound one the hardest fights you will experience in tropical waters.

The Tuna are another cunning hunter with exceptional eye sight, they make a challenging quarry. Often found in large schools, rounding up bait fish on the surface, they have been known to reject lures that do not promise them a match to the bait schools they are hunting.
